Applications for the 2018-2019 academic year are now closed. Please check back in the Spring Quarter for more information on how to apply to be a coordinator for the 2019-2020 academic year. The Global Siblings Coordinator is a leadership position within the Global Siblings program. Selected based on their application as well as an interview process, coordinators are not only Global Siblings themselves, but also help coordinate the meetings and activities of Global Sibling pairs assigned to them. This position presents an excellent opportunity to gain management experience (both people and budgetary), programming skills, and international exposure.

What is the commitment for a Global Sibling Coordinator?

Global Sibling Coordinators are expected to:
  • Attend a mandatory orientation session for all Global Siblings Coordinators during the upcoming Fall 2018 Quarter (Sept 22 & 23, 2018).
  • Attend and participate in bi-monthly Global Siblings coordinator meeting and report on group activities.
  • Maintain biweekly contact with their Global sibling group, ensuring that pairs are meeting, answering any questions and confusions as they arise, and offering suggestions for sibling activities.
  • Manage a programming budget, organize at least three Global Siblings family activities per quarter, and help plan large all-program events.
  • Perform the duties expected of a Global Sibling in addition to your Coordinator responsibilities.
