International Student Ambassador Program

International Student Ambassador Program

Do you have a strong interest for developing cross-cultural leadership? Do you enjoy meeting new people from different countries? Are you seeking to expand your global knowledge and help outreach to the UCLA international community? Then… you should apply to become an International Student Ambassador!

Who are International Student Ambassadors?

International Student Ambassadors are UCLA students that serve the campus community as official representatives of their home country. Ambassadors use their culture-specific knowledge and experiences to inform incoming international students, prospective study abroad students, UCLA staff and faculty, and the general campus. For new incoming international students, Ambassadors are one of the first points of contact and provide useful advice and resources to help ease their transition to campus life at UCLA and to living in Los Angeles. The Ambassadors also advocate to UCLA staff and faculty on behalf of the international community in order to make sure their voice is heard.
