Need a break from Westwood? Join us for a jam packed day of shopping, eating, and exploring in downtown Pasadena and the Huntington Library. We will start the day by visiting historic downtown Pasadena, where you can shop till you drop at the over 200 specialty boutiques and exclusive national retailers, while also sharing a meal together for lunch.

After visiting downtown Pasadena, we will head to the Huntington Library. The World Famous Huntington Library is one of the world’s great cultural, research, and educational centers. No matter your interest it has something for you. At the Huntington you can view rare books and manuscripts, or if you like artwork, you can visit one of the many art galleries on site. If you would rather be outdoors, you can also enjoy more than a dozen specialized gardens. Among the most remarkable are the Desert Garden, the Japanese Garden, the Rose Garden, and the Chinese garden. Bring your camera because there will be a lot of great photo opportunities! 

This is a perfect chance to explore Pasadena and make new friends. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 24th. Tickets are only $39 and include lunch and transportation!!!

First I'd like to thank you for directing such an amazing place as Dashew Center, I as an international student appreciate all your work and programs. I'm writing you to give you some feedback about the trip to Yosemite. This was the best trip ever, I'm really glad you are looking into new directions to integrate international students and this trip has been my best experience at UCLA (I'm starting my third year as a graduate student). Jennie and all her staff organized perfectly this trip. The hotel was good as well as all the activites they programmed. My expectations were completely overcome by their work. Not only we had an amazing time, they always tried to integrate everyone to form one group. We worked as a team and now I think that all of us will never forget this three lovely persons that made this trip a reallity. Thank you very much.
